Cooling equipment

For a fridge or freezer, specify the affected compartment, any visible seal damage and the pattern of noise or temperature change. The model determines later questions about parts. Do not open electrical assemblies or treat these notes as fault-finding instructions.

Cooking equipment

Identify the oven, stove or cooktop and the affected function. Different fuel types and controls lead to different professional requirements. A useful request mentions the chosen mode and the observed result without asking the household to investigate internal wiring or gas fittings.

Gas hot-water equipment

Explain whether the unit is continuous-flow or storage, if known, and copy any warning accurately. A suitably qualified person must assess gas-related concerns. A suspected leak is urgent and should be reported through the appropriate emergency contact.

Boiler systems

State what the boiler serves, the visible code and the sequence before the interruption. Qualifications and service scope depend on the actual installation. Repeated resetting or speculative part replacement is not a substitute for the proper assessment.
